Job Description:
Norton County Road and Bridge Department is currently accepting applications for the position of equipment operator/laborer. The candidate must have a clean, valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one. A CDL is preferred. Must be able to maintain and operate, included but not limited to: motor grader, backhoe, scraper, loader, dump truck, compactor, mower, skid steer, bulldozer, excavator and other equipment. There will be physical labor required when necessary. Applicant required to perform maintenance on all equipment. Lifting of up to 75 lbs. may be required. Drug and Alcohol screening required. Benefits will include single health insurance, vision, dental coverage, KPERS retirement, vacation, and sick leave. Norton County is an EOE.
