If you purchased a used vehicle from out of state, you will need an inspection. If the vehicle is brand new you may not need one, as the title has never been assigned yet.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is the only agency that can inspect salvaged or previously salvaged titled vehicles.

All inspections are $20 each.

Anyone that needs their fingerprints taken will be charged a $20 fee except for concealed carry permits.
